Sam Lambert & Shaka Maidoh of Art Comes First

Stylish men who know how to wear a suit with a certain kind of quirkiness are what fashion is all about. I discovered their pictures on Tumblr and was curious to find out who they are. Shaka Maidoh & Sam Lambert the London-based creative duo behind Art Comes First (ACF). The duo based in London openly admit to venturing into art because they like beautiful things. As I wish to do some day, they dabble in a lot of creative things such as designing of clothes using art and musical ways of displaying their pieces and incorporated into their creative lifestyle is a mood board which sets their creativity in motion- this can be seen on their ACF tumblr.
Each of their designs and means of creating looks has some kind of backstory and history linked to their aim in creating their art.Their slogan "Aalchemy, Sator and Progression", a very powerful statement which encapsulates their vision for their creations. They do great things in designing clothes for the heterosexual man as well as the woman who does not necessarily fit the mould of being strictly feminine. They have a creative kinship that's definitely one of a kind. A good pair of eyes and immense talent.

LOUIS PHILIPPE DE GAGOUE

There are a few things in this world as amazing as people who pursue what they love, especially if they are young Africans. Not only in fashion but in life. Louis Philipe De Gagoue is a fashion blogger, stylist, personal shopper a law student. So much ambition and so much style. When interviewed by Heritage1960 blog(heritage1960.tumblr.com) he had this to say:“When I put pieces together to make an outfit, I’m also mixing cultures, civilizations and travels through history.”

He's not afraid to risks with colour as well as prints and textures. You've got to admire his bold choices.
The Ivorian-born Tunisian-based blogger shared 3 pieces of advice:
Be yourself.
Never be afraid of people’s look.
Dare and play - fashion is a play ground.
